Food and Beverage

All food and beverages served must be provided by Creekside Conference and Event Center, excluding
Kosher which may be provided by an approved outside caterer. No other food or beverage will
be permitted to be brought into or removed from the facility by any client or client’s guests as in
accordance with local and state regulations.

 

Menu Selections

Creekside Conference and Event Center is happy to provide a customized menu for your event. To
ensure the success of your event, your menu and beverage selections, as well as any special dietary
accommodations for your guest(s) must be confirmed at least 10 days prior to your event. Menu
and beverage prices are subject to change without prior notice.

 

Reservations, Deposits, and Cancellations

Creekside Conference and Event Center is able to reserve your event up to 2 years in advance, based
on availability. Creekside will be happy to put you on a waiting list if your event date is further than
2 years out. A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit in the amount of the daily room rental fee
must be returned with a signed agreement to reserve your date. Deposits and other payments are
non-refundable.

 

Guarantees

All final guaranteed attendance is due 10 days prior to your event. This number will be considered a
guarantee and will be charged in full, even if fewer guests attend. If no guarantee is given, Creekside
will consider the number indicated at the initial event booking to be the correct guarantee number.

 

Payment

Thirty days prior to your event, 50% of the estimated food and beverage expense will be due with
the remaining balance due 7 days before your event. Any overpayment or additional balance due
will be refunded or billed within seven days of your event. A credit card will be required at the time
of deposit, and will be kept on file for any additional balance due.

 

Linens, Flowers, and Props

Creekside Conference and Event Center provides 60-inch round dining tables or rectangular tables,
buffet tables, white linens, chairs, bar glassware, white china and a 36’x36’ dance floor. Custom
items such as colored linens, specialty china and crystal are available at an additional cost and must
be arranged by Creekside.

 

Audio Visual, Equipment, and Entertainment

Our in-house Audio-Visual company will be happy to assist you with your event needs. Equipment
and pricing is as follows:

  • Podium and Microphone $100
  • Projector and Screen $150
  • Flipchart $25
  • Whiteboard $20

 

Service, Setup, Labor, and Cleaning Charges

All food and beverage charges are subject to a 21% service charge and 6.75% Ohio State sales tax.
Sales tax is applicable to the service charge. Standard setup, teardown and clean-up are included in
the rental fee. Additional labor and rental fees may apply for extensive or elaborate table needs and
setup.

Service labor fees for food functions, such as chef and carver fees can be found on the applicable
menus. An $85 cake cutting fee will apply, if applicable.

 

Damage and Liability

You will be responsible for any damage or losses to Creekside equipment, property or fixtures,
whether due to your event’s activities or guest conduct. Creekside Conference and Event Center
does not assume responsibility for personal property or equipment brought into the facility, or any
items provided by an outside vendor. All items used for your event must be removed at the conclusion
of your event.

 

Liquor Liability

In accordance with the liquor laws governing the State of Ohio, a guest must be 21 years or older to
consume alcoholic beverages. Creekside reserves the right to refuse service to any person who is
unable to produce acceptable identification as to proof of age, or who exhibits signs of intoxication.
